Child protection cases are of an intrusive nature and have a major impact on children's lives. Advice and legal assistance in these cases requires expertise and experience that extends beyond the purely legal.

Advokatfirmaet Dehn has lawyers with extensive experience and solid expertise in child protection law. Several of our lawyers have represented a large number of municipalities in Akershus, Buskerud and Østfold in their child welfare cases for more than 20 years. The assistance is formalized through tenders in the larger municipalities and through ongoing assignment agreements for the smaller municipalities.

In addition to this, Dehn runs extensive course activities in the area, including for municipalities and courts. One of our lawyers is the leader of the child law network in JUC (Juristenes Utdannings Center).

Our lawyers have extensive procedural experience from both county boards and the courts, and conduct over a hundred child protection cases every year.
