Tonje mainly works with family, probate and inheritance law. She has experience from these areas of law from her position as an associate.

Tonje has previously worked at Nav Familie- og pensjonsytelser Drammen and Statsforvalteren i Oslo og Viken, and has thus gained good insight into administrative law and public law processes.

Tonje has a master's degree in law from the University of Oslo. Her master's thesis dealt with the boundary between custodial sentences and prison sentences for children.
