Ragnhild has extensive experience in advising and litigating in the field of children's law, which includes child protection cases and child custody cases (parental disputes). Since 1999, she has been a hired municipal lawyer in a number of municipalities related to child welfare and health law. Her advice is characterized by a high ethical standard with a particular focus on solving cases in the best interests of the client and the children.

From her practice as a chief negotiator and lawyer in the trade union movement, she has extensive experience in both collective and individual labor law, and has built up good expertise in administrative law.

Ragnhild keeps herself professionally up to date through teaching for municipalities and organizations, examiner assignments at Oslo Met and at the Faculty of Law. She also has supervisory assignments in child protection at the Faculty of Law. Ragnhild teaches child welfare law, children's law and administrative law, with particular emphasis on the rules on confidentiality and duty of disclosure, health law and professional ethics. For a number of years, she has been the regular legal lecturer at the Norwegian Psychological Association's expert training.
